As always a warm welcome to those of you who have joined us since our last issue of HBT Newsletter.

I've seen the power of JVing over the past week or two. Rob Benwell contacted me around 3 weeks ago about helping him promote his new Blogging to the Bank ebook. It's a fantastic read and I picked up quite a few things that I didn't already know AND I made a few affiliate sales.

Since then though I have received email after email in my inbox from some of the top internet marketers promoting his work; testimony to Rob's success in setting up joint ventures and in the process making himself 1000s of dollars in sales of his ebook. There is no shortage of job opportunities, from the high powered executive jobs to cleaning the windows in the very offices where the high earners ply their trades. One thing that most jobs DO have in common is that they have to answer to the "bossman".

I personally, was absolutely inspired by the idea of not having to answer to anyone ever again to make a living, when setting out to set up my first home business. The idea of working my own hours, spending time in the gym or with my kids if and when I pleased set me on a course of non-stop searching until I found the perfect online home business.

There are always the basic issues that almost everyone encounters in starting a new home business. Like deciding on what kind of business you want to start up.

Here are five important steps to follow to get started with internet marketing and for you to market your products or services from your own home.

1. Choose whether you want to start off with marketing your own products or become an affiliate marketer, as I am, which means marketing other peoples products for a commission.

2. Whether you start off with your own product or choose to market others you absolutely need to get your own website which includes domain name and web hosting.

3. Choose at least two or three internet marketing methods and incorporate these strategies into your business on a daily basis. Some examples are Article Marketing, Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, and Blogging.

4. Budget your money wisely. You may not be a one week wonder nor an overnight success. Give your online business at least one year to work out and set out your funds accordingly. It took me over 5 years to make a significant profit and 6 years to make Internet Marketing a full-time job. Don't blow your entire marketing budget on a one-shot media blitz. If it fails you will plummet into despair and more than likely give up.

5. Be persistent! You MUST do something positive for your business every single day if you want to succeed. Marketers use the Rule of Seven. Prospects must see or hear your message seven times before they consider buying. That means you need to get your message out their consistently. You will be surprised how much traffic you can drum up if you just KEEP AT IT.

In conclusion, getting set up is only a beginning. The real power comes from the marketing of your business. After all, a website is only a blip on the vast screen of the world wide web unless you drive visitors to make sales or signups for your affiliate services.

I can take my laptop anywhere in the world and continue to make a full-time income whether that is lying on a beach somewhere in the Bahamas or in a ski chalet in the Alps.

Can you envisage yourself doing this? Are you prepared to promise never to give up until you achieve your online goals?

You too can make this dream a reality but you must do the right things to make any progress at all. The above 5 points should at the very least set you on the right track.

SUCCESS ARTICLE - The Manifesting Mindset for Self Improvement

For years we have been exposed to self help and motivational instruction that focuses heavily on the physical world. For some this has been highly effective while for others this hasn't always been the case. Why is that? I believe that success comes to those who have the manifesting mindset.

What is the manifesting mindset? It's simply thinking in a way that is in harmony with the universe. I know that sounds spiritual, well it is. The reason some people seem to get everything they want and have abundant success is mainly due to their Manifesting Mindset.

If we have a subconscious belief that, for example: Wealth is good and rich people are happy, than your mind will allow you to manifest that wealth. However, if you have subconscious thoughts that are negative towards the attainment of wealth, than you will vibrate an energy that will not attract wealth. Have you or anyone you have known ever had a successful business or made a lot of money, and then after a period of time, lost it all or in part?

Or how about; if you have had some business success or other personal achievements and caught yourself say something like "I'm so lucky" or "I can't believe I'm doing this", and then had a turn around in your luck or your achievements?

Those are examples of subconscious thoughts that are sabotaging your chances of maintaining your success.

Another example of the Manifesting Mindset at work is trying to solve problems; Manifesting Mindset techniques teach you how to solve problems in your sleep. It isn't a new concept that if you focus too much on a problem with your conscious mind you will never find the best answer, but if you allow yourself to "sleep on it" It will often come to you as an epiphany!

Then there's daydreaming, how many great ideas have come to you when you relax your mind and allow your thoughts to wonder around the universe, and suddenly you realize that you have just solved a problem that has been bugging you for years? Now that's being in harmony with the universe.

Here's one of my favorite thoughts: It's about great inventions. Do people invent things, or just understand the powers of energy in the universe?

Thomas Edison; light bulb, Alexander Graham Bell; telephone It was always POSSIBLE to have a light bulb even before Edison UNDERSTOOD how to make one! After he made one, it soon became one of the most common items in the world! Now everyone uses the light bulb. Imagine trying to explain a light bulb and convince someone that it works before Edison made one.

The same is true with the Manifesting Mindset; we are only now beginning to understand and harness the energy that makes up our universe, and while there is undoubtedly much more for us to learn, one thing is for sure, knowledge is power and understanding the Manifesting Mindset will allow you to achieve all that you truly deserve.
